Page Personnel have partnered with a leading and highly accredited academy trust in the West Yorkshire region with a brand new opening to join their HR & Payroll Department.
The newly created Payroll & HR Administrator position will be reporting directly into the Chief Human Resources Officer and will be provide a wide range of support to the Trust across both HR and payroll.

Description
The successful applicant with play a key role in the HR and Payroll department, reporting directly into the Chief Human Resources Officer. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, supporting the current HR team, including creating employment contracts and other HR documents& reports; supporting the multiple schools within the trust with HR queries; accurate submissions for a monthly payroll with an external provider; ensuring staff receive the correct pay and benefits; and responding to all HR and payroll related queries.
Role Duties:
Calculating and administering all staff pay increases as required.
Liaising with the external payroll provider.
Uploading monthly payroll spreadsheets and all supporting documents.
Setting up ePayslip accounts and creating annual salary statements.
Assisting all Trust staff with all payroll related queries.
Creating legally compliant HR documents including contracts of employment, as well as HR letters.
Assist with the production of HR policies and procedures.
Supporting with recruitment, e.g. job adverts, arranging interviews and requesting references.
On-boarding administration ensuring safeguarding checks have been completed.
Collating document files for disciplinary hearings.
Creating HR reports, e.g. staff attendance, gender pay gap, leave requests.
Processing all requests for annual leave and completing corresponding admin.
Responding to queries in the HR and Payroll inbox.Profile
Candidates wishing to apply to the role should have:
Previously worked in a HR and/or Payroll environment
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge or experience of the education sector (desirable, not essential)Job Offer
The successful candidate will receive an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that makes a positive difference to the local community.
You will receive a permanent contract, working 37 hours a week across school term time, plus an additional 2-weeks.
Full time equivalent salary ranges up to £27,000 dependent on your previous experience and suitability to the role.
You will be based in Bradford, with home working available and free on-site parking.
