Transport Planner

A well-established food manufacturing company based in the York area is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their business due to continued growth and expansion.

The right Transport Planner will be responsible for;

Supporting and promoting the correct driver safety behaviours to deliver conditions for a safe working environment on site and at delivery sites.
Real time tracking of daily load plan to ensure efficient completion in full expediting solutions to delays and altering plan to meet unforeseen conditions.
Completing driver licence, CPC and medical validation checks
Providing daily/weekly/monthly analysis and metrics for Group Transport Manager and Directors.

I am really keen to see your CV if you are a Transport Planner with good experience working with SAP and excel is essential. Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills as well as excellent time management, results orientated and organisational skills are crucial to this role. The qualifications of Operator Licence Awareness Training (OLAT) and Transport Manager CPC would be a huge advantage.
