Financial Accountant

A fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a market-leading business based at their site on outskirts of York, North Yorkshire.

Reporting to the Financial Controller within a fast-paced, manufacturing business, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Production of group and subsidiary statutory financial reporting
Support with writing and producing strategic and directors reporting
Develop the accounting policies for the business to ensure they remain fit for purpose
Work closely with the Tax team to ensure all statutory and compliance requirements are met
Liaise effectively with internal and external audit teamsTo be considered for this Financial Accountant position and be successful in the post, you will need the following:

ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualification with PQE in a "Big 4" accountancy firm or industry
Previous Audit experience would be advantageous
Excellent technical accounting skills
Ability to work under pressure and to specified timescales
Ability to communicate well across all levels and channels to build effective working relationships
