I am currently recruiting on behalf of my Congleton based client for someone to join their customer service team. The perfect candidate will be confident, professional, well organised and have excellent attention to detail as you will be dealing with processing of online orders and ensuring customers are happy with their orders. This role requires someone highly numerical as you will be inputting product codes. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Process written and telephone orders from both the Sales Team and customers (this being both consumer and business customers) including room lot ordering

Dealing with general queries over the phone and via email

Processing orders from Customer Portals and websites

Processing orders from the Sales Team

Liaise with internal departments – Warehouse, Purchasing, Production, Stock Control and Finance

Provide order confirmations and stock reports to the Sales Team

Liaise with the Stock Controller to provide meaningful due dates for customer back-orders

EDI processes

Process advanced shipping notifications

Provide holiday and sickness cover for all areas within the Customer Service Team

To take responsibility for own personal development and update knowledge and skills, with support from Fine Décor, to perform the role at an effective level. To undertake such training as is deemed necessary to improve personal performance and knowledge

Understand the key aspects of the business plan and the specific KPI’s of the department

To implement positively and ensure compliance with, the Fine Décor’s policies, procedures, codes of practice and initiatives relating to Equality and Diversity, Customer Service, Risk Management, Health and Safety, Data protection and Information Technology and Financial Regulations

To take responsibility for own wellbeing and safeguarding in the duties to be carried out for this post

Taking ownership and responsibility to respond to complaints positively and professionally

To ensure that maximum use is made of information technology systems and associated equipment in the provision of efficient and effective services
This is a perfect role for someone in the local area looking for temporary interim work, your hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.
