Service Manager - Fareham, Hampshire - Up to £30,450 per annum

Do you have prior experience managing a team and working within a fast paced care environment that assists the people being supported to live the most independent lives they can? If so Voyage Care want to hear from you.

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Supported Living Scheme Manager/Service Manager to oversee our brand new, purpose built, service in Fareham, Hampshire. Comprising of 10 flats plus 3 bungalows the service will enable Voyage Care to provide support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated Complex Behaviours.

This exciting opportunity will enable a passionate individual to make a positive impact on the lives of the People we Support. Reporting to the Registered Manager, the Supported Living Scheme Manager will be integral to the development of the service as well as leading, developing and inspiring their own staff team of up to 60 staff.

Essential

Significant previous experience within a Learning Disabilities environment
Experience of managing, inducting and mentoring a team of Support Workers
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification). Must be prepared to undertake Level 5 on completion of probationary period
Ability to write and implement Risk Assessments, Support Plans and Audits as well as conducting Assessments
Good understanding of all relevant Health and Safety Legislation
A high standard of knowledge of CQC and Safeguarding requirements
Computer Literate including Microsoft Office suite
Driver with own vehicleDesirable

Prior management of complex care packages
Experience managing a large Supported Living service
Used to preparing and delivering reports/presentations to senior management
Experience of staff management databases. Voyage Care use CM2000 and Coldharbour, if you do not have experience of these systems full training can be provided.Important

Whilst predominately based in service this role will require the successful candidate to undertake assessments in the community and attend meetings with external stakeholders and other relevant third parties.

Evening and Weekend work will also be required in this role to support the staff team and on-call which will be undertaken on a rota basis.

Interviews for this role will consist of a panel interview and written assessment. Please allow half a day for your interview. Interview date is still TBC.

Due to the nature of this post, a full UK driving license is essential.

We have a an-house team that ensures that all of our services have plenty of PPE at all times. All care and support is carried out following the latest Government guidance.
