Staffline are recruiting for an experienced meat trimmer to work at our client's food production site in Telford. This role requires a minimum of 3 years Butchers experience. This is a permanent contract.
Shifts start at 6:30am and you will work until the end of production, Monday to Friday (approx. 40 hours per week)
Your Time at Work
As a Butcher at this site you will cut and trim meat from larger, wholesale portions into steaks, chops, roasts and other cuts, in line with specifications provided.
This will also include:
- Butchery of long cut legs to spec.
- Butchery of short cut legs to spec.
- Production of fresh meat products such as pork chops, loin joints, rolled shoulders etc to a high standard.
- Working with both beef & lamb to produce products of a high standard ie Chataubriand, steaks, trimmed racks.
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Butcher will have a minimum of 3 years previous experience within a similar role as a Butcher or Meat Trimmer. We are not able to progress any applications that do not have the experience necessary.
