Learning Disabilities Social Worker
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Adult Social Worker to join the Learning Disabilities Service for up to 12 months to cover maternity. The successful post holder will need to have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work from home (may need to meet with service users under national/local guidance).

Role Requirements and Responsibilities
*Recognised social work qualification
*SW England registration
*Experience of working with adults with global learning disabilities or a similar field involved in assessment of needs, care/support planning and case management
*A working knowledge of relevant legislation relating to the provision of services for adult client groups
*Excellent communication, report writing and IT skills
*Ability to deal with referrals within the team and to other teams
*Ability to chair and attend reviews and other meetings
*Ability to review needs and outcomes to ensure that services are still appropriate/meeting needs and where necessary facilitating changes to support
*Ability to implement and review protection plans
*Ability to carry out safeguarding enquiries under the care act
*Can develop effective working relations with internal departments and external agencies
