My client a large manufacturing company in Blackburn is looking for a Hygiene Operative to join their day shift.
working Monday - Friday between the hours of 7am - 4.15pm
This is a physical role and will involve manual handling, lifting and walking for large parts of the day.
Duties include:
* Cleaning the warehouse
* Sweeping floors
* Wiping and polishing surfaces
* Using chemicals for different areas
* Using a ride on buffer to polish the floor
* Emptying industrial cardboard bins
* Working outside cleaning the yard
* Flexibility to clean toilets and offices when other cleaners are on holiday
* Checking for hazards around the warehouse
This is initially a temporary position for 13 weeks, although could go permanent for the right candidate.
On-site parking, easily accessible on public transport, canteen facilities and weekly pay
