SAP Payroll Clerk

Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education. Their innovative and inclusive approach to education has seen 1.89 million people, all over the world, realising their educational ambitions by studying with the University since it opened in 1969.

They are looking to recruit an experienced SAP Payroll Clerk to join them asap for three months, working 37hrs a week and working from home (equipment will be supplied). Hourly rate is £11.99ph - £12.71ph depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities;

Processing accurate and timely changes to the payroll.
Adding new starters to the payroll and processing leaver documentation and redundancy payments.
Processing statutory and occupational payments, such as Statutory Sick Pay/Occupational Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity/Paternity Pay/Occupational Maternity Pay.
Processing tax code changes, liaison with HMRC over employee taxation issues and providing tax advice to employees as appropriate.
Managing salary sacrifice schemes.

Essential skills required;

Recent, relevant payroll experience in similar environment, medium-large complex organisation
SAP ECC Payroll experience is essential, Successfactors preferable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
