Import/Export Co-ordinator

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Import/Export Clerk to join our clients Food distribution company based near Wellingborough. This role has arisen through continued success and growth of the company and to begin with will be working on a 6 months fixed term contract which is likely to turn into a longer term opportunity. 

The ideal Candidate: 

· Has 2/3 plus years experience working within and Import/Export environment.

· Understands current customs legislation.

· Familiar with various documents such as EUR.1 and bills of laden.

· Experience of SAP is preferable.

· Good understanding of RoSH.

· Ability to work well and as part of a team.

· Articulate and concise.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Must be experienced and capable to deal with all aspects of import and export ideally within the Food Industry.

· Previous experience dealing with Export Health Certificate

· As well as dealing with the Import/Export side of the business you will be required to help out on UK deliveries and orders first and foremost.  

This is a full time position covering a 6 month contract with an immediate start and has the potential to be extended beyond and may well turn into a permanent opportunity. The working hours are 8am - 4pm or 9am-5pm (this is flexible depending on the candidate).
