Pertemps are currently supporting the recruitment of an Operations Co-ordinator for a double glazing company based in Wolverhampton serving the West Midlands. With a proven track record of providing the highest standard of customer service, my award winning client have annual turnover of over £4 million, providing 40-50 installations a week. Supporting the Operations Manager your duties will include:
• Support the Operations manager to oversee 10 team members including surveyors, operations support assistants and warehouse operatives, to organise and drive continuous improvement within the Operations Department.
• Co-ordinating and confirming product orders, delivery and installations ensuring customers are kept up to date and other contractors are communicated with.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
• Manage, review & improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices. Develop new processes to support the team of surveyors, being responsible for all orders, booking installations, installation plans and communication with customers.
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff.
• Manage health & safety.
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service throughout complaint investigation and resolution.
Role Requirements
• Proven work experience as a team leader or similar role in double glazing or construction
• A determined and enthusiastic individual, who is ready to join a growing business with a big vision.
• Excellent communication & organisational skills.
• A dedicated and persistent team player.
• Familiarity with business processes and financial principles
