Empowering Learning are working with a rapidly improving Bexley secondary school to support their recruitment of a Computer Science and Vocational IT teacher to start in April 2021. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and experienced team at an exciting stage in their journey. The school has made real strides but is a work in progress, so be under no illusions that this will not be an easy role. However, it is a fantastic career opportunity and the successful applicant will receive extensive support through the Trust.
The school are looking for someone who shares their vision and is willing to make a long-term commitment. This is very much about attitude, commitment and potential. You will join a large, thriving, forward-looking department as a permanent full-time teacher of Computer Science and Vocational IT. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range at least to GCSE level.
The school want to hear from dynamic, passionate and qualified Computer Science teachers (including NQTs) who can demonstrate:
Planning and delivery of high-quality lessons
The ability to engage and enthuse pupils
A good grasp of behaviour for learning strategies
Effective use of a range of Assessment for Learning strategies
