Office Angels are working with a leading organisation within the Medical Industry who are seeking an experienced and exceptional HR Advisor to join their Operational Department. You will be articulate, enthusiastic as well as assertive where necessary. This role will encompass a variety of HR duties as well as acting as the sounding board for all HR and People queries.

Key Responsibilities

To provide comprehensive day to date HR Advisor tasks to ensure a high quality HR service is delivered to the business and employees.
Maintain an awareness of HR best practise at all times
All aspects of Recruitment including interviewing, working with agencies and building strong relationships with potential candidates
New employee administration
Staff administration
Contracts of employment
DBS and professional certificates administration
Staff month end reports, head count WTE, sickness records and staff disciplinary process
Monthly payroll checklist
Sickness records
Managers annual leave records
Staff appraisals records
SMP records
Personnel filing
Provide day to day generalist HR advice to managers and employees
Support managers with employee relations queries
Implement L&D strategy as well as supporting Managers with training and appraisals
Advise on pay and other remuneration issues including benefits
Manage the UK Benefits offering and review appropriately
Ensure all HR policies are updated in accordance with changes in employment law Candidate Requirements

Degree or Qualification in Human Resources or comparable qualification
Relevant experience within a like for like HR position
Strong understanding of Employment Law and HR Policies
Hands on work ethic with an open door policy, a strong team player who can get involved with projects.
Strong implementation skills and solutions orientated
Professional handling of MS Office and Internal Systems
