ICT Systems Analyst

We have a fantastic opportunity available for an ICT Systems Analyst working for South Gloucestershire Council. You will work with a range of IT colleagues, both technical and non-technical, as well as business analysts and business users. You will be able to communicate effectively with all of them, modifying your approach to suit. e.g. explaining technology to non-technical people and explaining business processes to technical experts.

Responsibilities:

* Key contributor to project scoping exercises and implementation stages, using both technical expertise and knowledge of requirements.

* Capture additional information from business users to support refinement of requirements, and profiling user roles.

* Produce effective and accurate documentation analysis and solution documentation

* Develop understanding of organisational operating model and target architecture so that work always takes place within that framework.

* Understanding complex technical solutions, a wide variety of software products, system integrations and data models.

* Working within tight deadlines, managing competing demands, and making sound decisions that enable practical and sensible solution implementations

Experience in the below is essential

* Dynamics 365

* Office 365, SharePoint etc.

* Web technology including web services (REST/JSON and SOAP/XML)

* Integrations and data transfer – web services, ETL

* Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Systems

Location: Bristol

Daily rate: Up to £300
