About The Role
Work with the Head of Quality and Regulation (HoQR) ensure that Quality Assurance processes are robust across the region, via the inspection process
Supports effective management and oversight of the preparation for Coroner's inquests including the creation of statements from operational colleagues. Advice giving in relation to the process and court attendance.
Supports Head of Quality and Regulation in responding back to the Ombudsman and PHSO following conclusion of their input regarding organisational learning
Provides regular reports to HoQR on service quality and improvement actions, where required
Advises HoQR on service quality risks and works with MD/ RQD/AD / AQD / Home Managers to develop SMART action plans to remedy issues
Understands the Company's clinical and quality governance frameworks, its care quality processes and the requirements for regulatory compliance, and guides and coaches home managers, QRMs, AD and AQDs to ensure that these are applied robustly to ensure they achieve regulatory compliance, Resident, relative, customer and colleague satisfaction
Supports the registration processes for Home Managers with regulators and provides regular reporting updates
Supports HoQR with governance of management alert process
Supplies in depth analysis on home outliers and quality assurance regarding complaints

You may be required to undertake other duties appropriate to your post and/ or hours of work. The company may periodically review your role description and update it to ensure that it relates to the job as then being performed. It is the company's aim to reach agreement on reasonable changes, but if agreement is not possible the company reserves the right to insist on changes to your role description, after consultation
