We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer / PLC Programmer to work for a well established manufacturing company.
THE DUTIES:
* Programme PLC'S - SCADA / HMI's and variable frequency drives (for example, Mitsubishi and Hitashi).
* Coordinate the development and delivery of the control electrical design and documentation to meet the agreed project programme.
* Ensure all engineering risks are shared with and understood by the Project Engineer.
* Provide appropriate control electrical engineering support for technical assembly, installation and commissioning.
* Liaise with the project engineer and mechanical design engineer to ensure their input and support achieves a robust design.
* Provide control electrical design engineering input to the various project & design review meetings.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPEREINCES:
* Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills are essential.
* An understanding of PLC systems and Electrical Legislation and codes of Practice.
* Experience in delivering control designs.
* Qualifications in HNC / HND Electrical Controls Engineering or equivalent.

Monday to Friday - Days

You will be paid £42,500 annum, plus benefits
