We are currently recruiting for a junior data analyst/business support administrator. Main duties are outlined below;
* Manipulating data received and drawn out from customer portals and presenting it in required formats to Commercial department and Production Planning, ensuring teams have the most up-to-date information at all times.
* Maintaining customer schedules within our MRP – Progress Plus (no previous experience with Progress Plus required – it is a bespoke system and training will be provided)
* Maintaining customer portals, manage shipping dates.
* Manual loading of customer schedules onto MRP system and also any schedules not received in the correct manner.
* Daily generation of pick/kit lists for shipments.
* General administration support to the Management Team, including scanning, filing and shredding of confidential information.
Person Specification
* Minimum qualification level – A-levels. Degree or higher preferred.
* Highly analytical and comfortable working with large quantities of data.
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Previous use of integrated MRP/ERP system preferred.
* Previous use of SAP also preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels both verbal and written.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
* Must embrace change and be willing to adopt new skills to support all areas of the business.
* To be flexible in a team-oriented environment.
It is a 38 hour working week, 730am to 430pm Monday to Thursday, and 730am to 130pm on Friday .Experience of working in a manufacturing environment desirable
