mpowering Learning are pleased to be representing a SEMH school who are looking for a KS3 Teacher on a Temp basis (could become permanent) to work in a classroom setting. The position will be to start ASAP and the hours are full time.
As a teacher you will be based in a classroom working with small groups, with support from 2 other teaching assistants. If you are a passionate teaching then this is a great opportunity.
The pupils here have a variety of complex needs, primarily high levels of Autism, secondly display elements of SEMH, with attachment/trauma issues/Speech and Language engagement issues, all of which leading to some delayed development (around 2 years on average vs actual age expectation). However, all pupils are fully verbal.
A full national English curriculum is taught to KS 3 standard - most of these pupils have spend years out of education at various intervals. Experienced Complex needs Teacher is required.
