Page Personnel are delighted to be partnered with our client in recruiting a part-qualified Accounts Assistant. This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring professional that is currently taking on month-end, management accounts and transactional duties.

Our client is a market leading organisation that has benefited with recent growth. They are innovative and business is doing well in their Glasgow City based office.
Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
Processing and validating revenue data on a daily basis
Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments and other monthly journals
Preparing monthly hotel management accounts, including commentary on variances
Working closely with clients throughout the month to ensure any issues are resolved and required information is received
Dealing with ad hoc queries from clients including all transactional finance responsibilities
Working closely with Senior team members and Financial Controllers to challenge and improve processesProfile
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
Commencing or at earlier stages of ACCA
Proactive self-starter with ability to problem solve
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of Excel skills would be very advantageous
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Accuracy and attention to detail
Organising and prioritising work to meet reporting deadlinesJob Offer
This role offers a competitive salary between £20,000-£23,000 plus benefits
