Customs Administrator - Immediate Start East Dunbartonshire

Search Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Customs Specilist to join our client with an immediate start.

This role is starting immediately and it will be a long term temporary position with a view to going permanent for the right person.

I am keen to speak to candidates who see themselves working in a fast paced environment and enjoy a varied role and a busy workload within an administrative capacity. This role will sit within the customer service division initially with my client, this will give you an opportunity to get to know the business and you will be trained to progress and specialise in customs.

This is a long term opportunity for someone that has the experience to allow them to deliver a quality service to both customers and clients.

Some of the typical tasks you will be involve in are:

Being responsible for department compliance for audits to ISO accreditation
Analysing daily workload across the Customer Service team to ensure SLA's are achieved each day.
Look at working practices/processes, review and change as and when required
Investigate complaints and customer enquiries by interrogating Supply Chain SystemsTo be considered for this role ideally you will have knowledge of export marketplaces, freight and customers clearance current/post Brexit

This role will be home based initially, long term will be office based.
