Hospital Director

A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for a Hospital Director with experience in supporting service users living with Learning Disabilities including Autism support and complex behavioural support. You will cover the daily operations of the Hospital along with delivering support to managers and other staff.
My client is well established and have good solid CQC ratings. My client is looking for a focused, motivated and high achiever to further improve and maintain the high standards that are embedded throughout their values and service delivery.

·Salary - Circa £70,000 per annum
·Hours - 40 hours per week plus on call requirements
·Area - Location is near to Diss, Norfolk
·Permanent - Full time

Responsibilities - Hospital Director

·Motivational and inspirational leadership for employees and teams to perform at their best in building and sustaining a high-performance culture. Act as a role model and ambassador for company values and leadership behaviours.
·Effective Employee Engagement and Development so that all employees understand the Vision and Strategy and their role in it and are actively encouraged, developed and motivated to deliver Outstanding Service to our Clients and have fulfilling careers within the company
·Effective and timely delivery of multi services in pursuit of effective commercial contractual, safety and risk management.
·Responsible for driving up quality, achieving all CQC regulatory requirements and where any issues arise, develop, implement and complete appropriate remedial action plans.
·Achievement of Revenue and Margin targets by the retention and growth of existing business, acquiring new business and the effective and efficient running of operations.
·Responsible for driving quality and business improvements
·Ensure that structures, processes, systems and procedures are co-ordinated, effective and efficient meeting business, commercial and clinical requirements to meet future business demands.
·Accountability for the hospital and its commercial performance.
·Leads and manages the Hospital Senior Management team (SMT) across all aspects of day to day business deliverables including monitoring performance in relation to quality performance indicators (QPIs) and performance manage sites where improvement is required.
·Accountable to ensure the service performs to agreed targets for business planning, financial performance (meeting both planned revenue and EBITDA) and quality and care standards.
·To proactively use management information to effectively identify areas of underperformance and to put action plans in place to deliver improvements to the required standard using performance management interventions where appropriate.
·Take an active role in the budget setting process.

Skills required - Hospital Director

·Educated to degree standard or equivalent
·Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task
·Ability to handle ambiguity within the organisation but continue to lead the team
·Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills essential.
·Detail oriented
·Can work well under pressure
·Passionate about continuous improvement with a demonstrated track record in organisational change
·The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment
·Commuting distance form Diss, Norfolk.
