Automation Engineer
Telford
12 Month FTC - Temp / Perm
£35,000 to £40,000 + Overtime 1.5xbase
DAYS Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm
Automation Engineer sought within a Telford based FMCG company. The company are going through a large period of growth and are seeking a contact automation engineer to join their rapidly growing engineering team.
The role will be suited to experienced automation engineers from any manufacturing background, exposure to the food manufacturing sector will be highly advantageous however all automation engineers will be considered. You will also have strong S5/S7 PLC experience.
The main duties of the role will be the engineering maintenance of all automation equipment onsite. This will include fault finding, planned maintenance and programming. You will be the stand-alone automation engineer and will need to provide technical support to the other engineers on shift in terms of technical and demonstratable knowledge.
The role in brief:
*Planned and reactive maintenance of all Automation equipment onsite
*Programming of Automation equipment
*Provide Technical support to other multi skilled engineers on shift
*Stand alone Automation engineer
*12-month FTC with the potential for a permanent position after.
The person required:
*Strong PLC & Automation experience
*S5/S7 PLC
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*To be able to provide technical support
