We're looking for an experienced, passionate, committed and experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN), with experience of working in a care home at a senior level in Tooting to help ensure the operational success of a 55 bedded nursing home. As the Deputy Manager, you'll be working supporting the Manager with other care workers to make people's lives as fulfilled and meaningful as possible. This full-time care role comes with a salary of £42,775, along with some great company benefits.
Your primary responsibilities in this Deputy Manager role will include:
. Deputising for the Registered Manager as and when required.
. Providing motivational leadership and line management responsibilities to the care team
. Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that residents receive the medical and clinical support they require
. Act as a mentor to new and existing nursing team, updating care plans, and maintaining accurate records
It will also be part of your job to train, mentor and support new staff and identify any training or development needs of the existing team and ensure these are met and documented appropriately.
Requirements for this Deputy Manager role include:
. 3 years post qualification experience as an RGN/RMN and currently registered with NMC;
. have a minimum of 1 years managerial experience of leading a care team in the care of older people, or related social care setting;
. Comprehensive knowledge of CQC assessment criteria for excellent and outstanding scores
. Management experience within the healthcare sector
. Enhanced DBS disclosure.
