Working for a large UK wide business a new position has opened for a busy sociable team in Liverpool. As well as the day to day Legal Cashiering responsibilities you will be allocated your own set of accounts to manage. The role is busy and diverse and it suitable for someone who enjoys working to tight deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Account Management
* Banking incoming Cheques into client and office accounts
* Paying out cheques to client accounts
* Paying invoices to private and nominal accounts
* Processing invoices
* Posting and allocating transactions
* Comply with SAR
* Liaising with Solicitors and Fee Earners on a daily basis
* Produce documentation for auditors
* Running of month and year end procedures
* Setting up and attending client meetings
* Ensure all legal files are kept up to date with client correspondence
* Mentor and support other Junior member of the team
Skills Required:
* A minimum of 18 months experience working as a Legal Cashier in a Solicitors firm
* Knowledge and understanding of the SAR account rules
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Excellent organisational skills
