Outbound Supervisor

You’ll be joining our business as a key member of the night shift Management team. Reporting in to our Outbound Process (Nightshift) Manager, you will support your Depot by ensuring the smooth running of your shift. The Outbound Process Supervisor is responsible for the performance of the night operation which is when we process parcels from our clients and sort them into smaller geographic areas for our Couriers to deliver to our Customers homes.

A well ran and efficient night shift is key to our business and it all starts with the leadership provided by our Supervisors.

You will be responsible for motivating your staff, problem solving on a day to day basis and operationally as well as being the first initial point of contact to resolve any issues on your shift including return to work interviews, first stage disciplinary and grievance investigations. But the main focus of our Shift Supervisors is to develop and upskill your team. Each Depot has challenges but you’ll have an experienced central team, senior Managers as well as peer mentorship to support you; this support will enable you to meet your potential and grow your experience.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference and be responsible for positive change whilst building on your current experience in logistics.

Our Outbound Shift Supervisor job is for someone who understands how to motivate staff and is able to efficiently work under pressure. You must be able to work collaboratively and take the lead on projects amongst your peers.
