Covid Marshals

TATA Steel are currently recruiting for Covid Marshals to join their team ready for December's maintenance shut down. You will be facilitating a vital rapid testing capability to ensure a safe working environment for all maintenance personnel, on a daily basis, during this busy period. The contract is initially from now until March 31st, but is likely to be continued.

All PPE and training will be provided for the duration of this contract. Before starting this position, you will be required to have a pre placement medical, this will contain a drugs and alcohol test.

The ideal candidate will

Be available for the duration of the contract
Must be able to drive
Agree to daily testing
Must be IT competent in order to use the phones and online timesheets
MUST be available to work weekends
Be able to accommodate the shifts
Have no underlying health issues that would put you in the 'at risk' category
You must be over 18 and in general good health with no symptoms of COVID-19, nor must anyone in your household.
Be flexible in case of an extension beyond the end of contract date
Previous demonstrable experience in marshalling is welcomed.

Your responsibilities

Outdoor Vehicle traffic control in a car park environment
Confirm entry to main site by checking evidence of COVID-19 test results via Mobile Phone App
Support set-up of signage, and the set-up and close close-down of operations at site

Shifts

2 on 2 off pattern, split shifts
Day Shift: 05:30 - 12:00 (6.5 hours)
Twilight Shift: 17:30 - 20:00 (2.5 hours)
