3 Shift Pattern - 12 Hour Days and Nights
Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer required for a large manufacturer who have recently invested heavily on site. They boast a state of the art production facility and offer a varied role with exposure to a wide range of production machinery. They offer overtime opportunities to boost potential earnings and ongoing training and development.
The role would suit mechanically biased maintenance engineers or multi-skilled maintenance engineers who have previous experience working within a fast paced production or manufacturing environment. Applicants transferring from FMCG/Food based environments will have a considerable advantage. Engineers will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent.
Reporting into the Maintenance manager, you will work within a large team of maintenance engineers. The role will involve both reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a wide range of production machinery. You will work on mechanical fault finding, breakdown and repair as well as electrical maintenance of 3 phase systems. You will also get involved with facilities maintenance when required. You will work to strict health and safety and food hygiene guidelines.
