Job Details
Our international removals company are looking for their newest addition to a small team. This role is a customs clearance coordinator based in Ipswich. Our client have been trading for over 20 years and are now looking to expand in 2021 due to Brexit, the new member of the team will assist with the new Customs Clearance procedures which are coming into place as of the 1st January 2021.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to work for a small company with ambitions to progress with your career within logistics!
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience within freight forwarding or customs clearance, and a real passion for the logistics industry! My client are looking for a real team player with brilliant attention to detail!
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar role
Understanding of incoterms, Duty & VAT calculations
Experience ensuring export and import custom entries are completed efficiently
Knowledge of systems such as CNS, Dentin8, CHIEF, Multifreight or Descartes
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
Exceptional customer service skills and experience on the telephone
