PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Crewe, Cheshire (easy transport links available)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 39 hours per week
Salary: £19,000 - £20,000 per annum DOE
My client is a manufacturing company who have been established for over 50 years. Due to growth, they are now looking for a highly organised Purchasing Coordinator to join them on a full-time basis. They have a very flexible approach and tailor their outstanding service to the customer’s individual requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Raising purchase orders and purchases dictated by the needs of the business
Maintaining an up to date system with accurate information
Negotiation with suppliers in a polite and effective manner
Compiling cost reports for invoices
Resolving order issues in a timely and efficient manner
Required skills:
Previous experience in a purchasing role within a manufacturing/production environment
Working knowledge of Sage is essential for this position
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Use of MS Excel and Word with great attention to detail
