Our client based in Telford is looking for a Installation/Fitter to work on the installation and fabrication of plastic belting and associated accessories.

The ideal candidate will attend customer premises to carry out fitting/installation duties as required by customer specification.

Travel to sites UK wide to complete installation/repairs as required.

All products are manufactured are bespoke, the ideal candidate will be required to work from engineering drawings to produce parts to customer requirements.

In order to do this you will be operating specialist machinery and given specific training on products produced.

Machinery to include the operation of Drilling, Grinding and machines which are similar to that of lathes. Which are then used to alter plastic profiles to engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

Experience or knowledge of Plastic Extrusion would be an advantage but is not essential.

Understanding of a technical drawings and/or be able to use measuring equipment.

Excellent attention to detail

Good numerical skills - geometry would be an advantage.

Positive approach to work

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Have a flexible attitude to work and work over time as and when required to meet the demands of the business.

Good trouble shooting skills

Capable of dealing with clients face to face.

In return you will be paid an annual salary of circa £21000 per annum as well as enhanced rates for over time and call outs.

As part of the role you will be required to drive a company vehicle therefore a full driving licence is essential.

Standard working hours are day shifts, 39 hours per week.
