Page Personnel are delighted to be partnered with our client in recruiting and exceptional role for a Finance Office. This role will offer an opportunity for the successful candidate to support in monthly management account and wider finance duties.

Our Client is a well-established Glasgow City Centre based Business that have enjoyed recent success within their lucrative sector.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following repsonibilities:

Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
Month-end journals, prepayments, accruals and bank reconciliations
P&L and Balance Sheet preparation and reporting
Real-time & monthly cash reporting
Input significantly to process for compilation of Budget / Reforecast
Bank reconciliations, month-end journals as required
Assistance in compilation of month-end / quarter-end reporting
Preparation of ongoing VAT administration
Processing of purchase invoices (Weekly)
Barcoding invoices and matching with purchase order numbers
Obtaining approval of invoices
Liaising with suppliers regarding invoicing and payment queries
Preparing Monthly and Weekly Payment runs for all divisions,
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
Filing invoices and statements
Weekly / monthly pay runs according to defined procedures
Expenses, petty cash & credit cards administration
Ongoing internal monitoring of cashProfile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

Part-qualified OR QBE, in which case minimum three years of working in Finance function
Knowledge of preparation of month-end management accounts / reporting
Knowledge of Sage or similar integrated accounting package
Proficient in Excel
Willingness to guide others
Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
Team player in a small team and dynamic, fast-moving environment - willingness to cover wide range of tasksJob Offer

This fantastic opportunity has a competitive salary of £23,000-£26,000 plus benefits
