STANDARDS & TEST METHOD ADMINISTRATOR
Maternity cover (10 month FTC)
Location: Kettering
Pro rata of a full-time salary £17,500 - £19,500 per annum DOE
(22.5 hours per week)
We are seeking a Standards and Test Method Administrator to provide maternity cover within our clients small Quality Assurance and Compliance team. The candidate will report directly to the Quality Manager and be responsible for marketing newly published Test Methods, and processing orders for Test Methods from customers including members;
Other key responsibilities of the role will be:
· To track and assist with the progressing of new/revised test methods;
· To source and purchase standards and documentation for staff, and to record and supply controlled documentation internally to meet UKAS requirements;
· Administration of internal reports and articles;
· To provide internal staff with archived information to assist with the writing of articles, reports and support research activities.
· Provide support for the document control system (M files)
· Receipt and circulation of hardcopy and electronic journals and newsletters from external bodies
The successful candidate will be a patient, self-motivated, methodical person, with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work independently. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a very high level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience of producing documents in accordance with an internal Quality Management System. The candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths. A working knowledge of National and International Standards (e.g. BSI, CEN, ISO, ASTM) would be a distinct advantage.
