Finance Manager | Manchester | £46,000-£56,000
The is an interim role to help with growth for a national charity.
You will work closely with senior management as well as finance and non-finance colleagues from across the organisation. You will be innovative and driven to develop new ways of working, comfortable dealing with large quantities of financial data and able to support non-finance colleagues to understand the financial processes.
This role will include the following duties:
* Acting as Financial Business Partner to the Finance Director, supporting the all Financial Management
* To oversee budget setting and monitoring, departmental budget, costing activities and development of budget profiles.
* Supporting the development and review of new business proposals, scrutinising direct and indirect cost coverage.
* Supervising the production of grant/contract financial reports, including contract billing and cash flow forecasting/management.
* Reviewing the balance sheet accounts, analysing key trends and material variations.
* Leading the monthly financial close process
* Updating, monitoring and maintaining the financial procedures and standing orders, ensuring staff comply with them and that they are compliant with policies and procedures, advising the Finance Director of any potential breaches or non- compliance across the organisation
The ideal candidate would be/have:
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA etc)
* 2 years experience in a senior management role
* Line management experience
* Excellent organisation and administrative skills
