Financial Accountant

You will have responsibility for the delivery of year end financial accounts and the opportunity to assist with the year end statutory audit alongside the Head of Finance. There is also the opportunity to lead and develop staff within the team.

Well established currently operating in a very busy industry sector now looking for a Financial Accountant to support the Head of Finance.

Description

Preparation and Submission of year end statutory accounts for subsidiaries and help manage group consolidated accounts.
Liaise with external auditors and provide audit support
Review and Implementation of previous audit support processes
Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and make sure all ledgers are in order.
Provide accurate and timely analysis to stakeholders to support decision making
Assist with the reconciliation of complex sub-ledger accounts as advised.
Ensure that VAT, tax and statutory returns are submitted to comply with regulatory responsibilities.

Part Qualified or Finalist CIMA / ACCA
Confident Accounting System user
Excel - Ideally advanced
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a small teamJob Offer
