About the role
As a porter you will have various roles, you will be working as part of a 2-4 person delivery team however, not every day will be the same and you will be required to do a lot of manual handling.
Your average day will consist of various Customer deliveries that include installing the products in our customers’ homes and ensure all packaging is removed. You will work with your driver to ensure the vehicle and stock are secure at all times. You will also be required to use PDA for obtaining signatures, taking photographs of the furniture and property.
About you
* Previous experience in a customer facing role an advantage but not essential
* Be physically fit and be able to lift and carry furniture
* Ability to interact with customers
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
* Presentable and polite at customers’ homes
* Professional conduct at all times when representing the Company to our customers and staff
* Smart and presentable appearance at all times
* A flexible approach to work
* A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative

Mon to Fri with occasional weekend
