Planning Scheduler

Scope of Role
The Planning Scheduler will help deliver the day to day supply chain function, and the effective planning of the operational forecast into a production schedule.
This role is designed to deliver best in class customer service to all external and internal customers. That will be applied to improving planning efficiencies, reducing stock holding, cleaning and changeovers.
Working closely with the operations and MRP teams to create the most efficient plan, meeting the demands of the customer whilst keeping WIP within the business targets.
Creation of a weekly production schedule and labour requirement forecasting model for both sites.
A proactive approach is required in this role, and improvements and project work will become part of the "norm" in this role.
The Planning Scheduler will also support the MRP, Warehouse, Operational, Technical and Finance teams in the evaluation of the short- mid-term plan.
Essential
*Experience of working in an FMCG environment
*Experience of working as production scheduler / Materials planner
*Proven track record of building successful cross-functional relationships
* Experience of using SAP or similar management system
Desirable
*Minimum 5 years' experience working in an FMCG environment
*Minimum 3 years' experience within a planning role
*Knowledge of SAP B1 / R3 / APO systems

Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:00
Friday 08:30 - 16:00
