Page are currently recruiting on behalf of a UK & International Transport and Logistics company based in Newport.
Starting salary will be between £20,000 and £27,000 depending on experience.
Free on site parking.
Description
Key duties will involve:
- Transport coordination for over 150 vehicles
- Logistics and transport administration
- Export/Imports
- Customs and shipping documentation
- Customer service
* Provide administration support for the import & export teams within Operations team
* Sales order processing support
* Support SOP with requirements for shipments to customers
* Maintaining accurate records in accordance with internal procedures to ensure compliance and regulatory compliance
* Building strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders
* Keeping up to date and the company informed of all relevant legislation, import tariffs and trade agreements
Profile
The ideal candidate:
- MUST have experience within logistics and transport
- Willing to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service and telephony experience
