BIM Coordinator

Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a BIM Co-Ordinator to work on one of the largest projects in
and around London at the moment

This role is to to come in as an entry level BIM coordiantor, with the opportunity of progressing over a number of years during the project duration.

This is a long term, ongoing freelance opportunity that could progress to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Rate of pay will depend on level of experience.

A key component of being a BIM Coordijnator is to interface directly with Stakeholders, Suppliers, and their supply chains, to assuring the quality delivery of a collaborative digital deliverables within the digital environment.

Responsitibilites -

Deliver the Project BIM processes, methodologies and guidance for the collaborative production, maintenance and delivery of information and data.
Represent the client proactively at industry recognised forums related to BIM, CAD and Information Management highlighting and championing successes realised
Implement BIM processes Identifying and promoting cost avoidance and reduction, creating and exploiting efficiencies to deliver benefits to the programme portfolio
Under the direction of the Programme Information Manager assure BIM ethic is consistently applied throughout contracts covered within the Programme.
Provide project based assurance and compliance to programme, industry recognised and, internal BIM standards, methods, procedures. Highlighting commercial, security and, confidentiality risk where identified.
Administer Programme implemented Common Data Environment (CDE) ensuring compliance to programme BIM standards, methods and procedures.
Create and maintain BIM implementation and adoption metrics for each project within your ProgrammeCandidate expectations

Degree and/or Higher National qualifications associated with architecture, engineering or construction industries
Proficient using Bentley &/or Acosim
Specialist knowledge in the implementation of BIM and collaborative working processes (BS1192:2016, BS1192:4, PAS1192:(phone number removed) AVANTI).
Relevant successful experience of the industry BIM associated technologies
Relevant successful experience in use of Industry standard Document and Data Management Systems
Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with stakeholders of all levels across the projects and externally with the Supply chainFor more information please submit your CV.
