Assistant Management Accountant

Page Personnel are delighted to be exclusively partnered with our client in recruiting an exciting part-qualified position of an Assistant Management Accountant. This role will provide responsibility in producing management accounts for a cycle of clients with wider finance duties.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts cycle for a range of clients
Supporting in preparation of budgets, forecasts and P&L
Balance sheet reconciliations for group management accounts (fixed assets, payroll, accruals and prepayments)
Preparation of VAT returns
Purchase ledger management
Analysis of key drives of the Group's financial performance
Maintaining communications with key external stakeholders; Assisting with supplier payments and queries, bank recs, allocation of client fee incomeProfile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

Part-qualified in either ACCA/ACA/CIMA/ICAS
Strong knowledge of systems, MS Office & Excel
Proactive
Keen attention to detail with accuracy in production
Strong communication skills

This role offers a competitive salary between £22,000-£27,000 plus benefits
