Residential Care Worker - Children and Young People - Crowborough, East Sussex.
We are currently recruiting a Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our clients residential children's home in Crowborough, East Sussex.
Your role will be taking care of the day to day needs of 6 young people between the ages of 10-17 as any parent would, ensuring the young people feel listened to and have a voice.
You will support the young people in activities, including, swimming, football, cycling etc along with taking part yourself!
Daily report writing is a key part of this role
Successful candidates for this position will have at least two years experience of working in young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and ideally be qualified to at least Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care, Children and Young People or equivalent.
So, if you would like to join a small company which looks after their staff and likes to promote from within and has a clear Ethos around the work then this is the role for you. This role does NOT require you to undertake sleeps as they have waking nights.
A basic salary is offered of up to £24,000.
