My client based in the Bromsgrove area of Worcestershire is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator with SAGE experience on an initial maternity Cover basis. This could be an 18 month position but that may become Permanent depending on certain circumstances.

The main function of the role is as follows

- Process monthly and weekly payroll on Sage
- Process end of year P60s
- Process pensions for clients
- Process Job Retention Scheme claims for clients
- Assist with HMRC Basic Payroll
- Provide clients with telephone/face-to-face support on their queries
- Assist in other general administrative task

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Previous payroll bureau experience essential preferable within an accountancy practice
- Up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation and is experienced in using Sage payroll software
- Up to date knowledge of the Job Retention Scheme and is experience in calculating and submitting claims
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Able to organise own work and prioritise tasks.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and a high concern for accuracy

This position is Monday-Friday with an early finish on Friday afternoon and the salary on offer will be determined by the candidates relevant and suitable experience.
