CAMHS Mental Health Nurse, Basingstoke, Band 6/7.
Vacancy for a Band 6 / 7 CAMHS nurse to work in the Basingstoke CAMHS team.
A senior Mental Health Nurse is needed to provide clinical nursing support to patients and their families and carers to help to educate them and the patient about their mental health problems and will hold a very small caseload of young people with complex mental health needs.
The primary focus will be on duty and some initial assessments.
The candidate will have an ability to liaise with and work in collaboration with other relevant agencies according to the needs of the young person.
Candidates must be a qualified RMN. Experience working with children is required and confidence/competence in risk assessing is essential.
The role is full-time, working Monday-Friday on a long term NHS contract.
The hourly rate is
Band 6 : £26.50 p/h
Band 7 : £31 p/h
