We are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to work for South Gloucestershire Council. The role is to support the recruitment process from pre-advertisement through too appointment. This will be a temporary on-going position for a minimum of 3 month with the potential to become permanent
Responsibilities:
* To process all relevant pre-employment checks in line with safer recruitment guidelines and Council policies and procedures.
* To support council recruitment initiatives such as Proud to Care and the Apprenticeship Levy and to support the administration of the Council's agency staff contract.
* Support the recruitment process with all internal and external advertising.
* Carry out all relevant pre-employment checks in line with safer recruitment guidelines and Council policies and procedures including identifying and resolving problems with references or DBSs.
* Collate and maintain records, databases and documents and analyse information to ensure accurate statements are produced and data is retrieved from computerised systems and interpreted.
* Support the delivery of specialist processes and procedures ensuring that all customers receive an effective, functioning service.
Experience/Qualifications:
* NVQ 2 Level 2 qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or Customer Services, or equivalent relevant experience
* HR / Recruitment experience
Location: Bristol
Hourly rate: Up to £10.79
