Software Developer
Cheltenham + Home working
£38,500 to £50,000
An exciting opportunity for a Software Developer, working within a full stack development team in an agile environment. The successful Software Developer will have good web-development and JavaScript framework skills, as well as experience with backend and API development in a Microsoft technology stack.
The Software Developer will be working within an experienced in-house development team creating bespoke applications for clients across a wide range of industries. The chosen Software Developer will work closely with the UX design team and bridge the gap between design and implementation, taking an active role on both sides.
Responsibilities
*Active participation in the Scrum Process and engagement with the Scrum Team to achieve goals
*Developing software using varied technologies across multiple industries
*Support for existing applications, as well as development of green field projects
*Develop new user-facing features across multiple projects
*Build reusable code and libraries for future use
*Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
*Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
*Software development on multiple platforms (mobile, web, desktop)
*Involvement in technical design, planning and analysis on upcoming projects
*Participate in Continuous Improvement of the entire business
*Provide technical expertise to the design team
Required Skills
*Passion for software development and developing using the latest technologies
*Minimum of 3 years' software development experience
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
*Proficiency with React and React Native development
*Experience with the following frameworks: AngularJS, Angular, .NET Web API, .NET Core, Node.js, Microsoft SQL
*Proficiency with web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
*Experience using Microsoft Azure cloud hosting
