Contracts Manager

Are you a contracts manager looking for your next role?

I am currently working with an earthworks contractor. They are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team overseeing 2-3 projects in the Colchester region.

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Permanent

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Reporting to the Managing Director and being responsible for the overseeing of all projects, from start through to completion.

*To ensure that work is completed on time and within its budget. Health and safety issues will be a top priority in the role, as will managing client expectations.

* Understand all aspects of the contracting process, and earthwork package requirements - plus good commercial sense is a must.

* To establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people and use your own initiative and make your own decisions as well.

* The candidate will need to be well-organised and capable of meeting deadlines. Good maths and IT skills will also help.

Requirements:

* Valid CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid certificates
* Proven track record on civils projects from start to finish
* Previous experience in a contract manager role
* Hold a foundation degree, HND or degree in civil or structural engineering, construction management or project management.
