Responsible for managing the internal NPD process for designated customers

Innovative business who supply to some of the biggest brands with in FMCG and retail. The office has a number of different sites in the UK and internationally including the USA. Due to growth in the current climate they are seeking to add to their team.

Description

Responsible for managing the internal NPD process for designated customers

Originate a critical path for each project

Draw up and maintain a project management schedule for each customer project

Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to provide regular updates and highlight potential issues. Liaise with the relevant business functions to ensure trials are carried out correctly.

Liaise with customer contacts to ensure project progression

Raise relevant internal documentation, ensuring their timely completion and sign-off

Communicate with the customer, their agents, artwork houses and other parties to meet all the requirements for the completion of artwork

Co-ordinate and manage the artwork process, communicating with the customer, their agents, artwork houses and other parties to meet all the requirements for the completion of artwork. Supply relevant documentation to the customer as required

Represent the company at artwork meetings and passes on press

Attend first production runs and prepare customer samples where required

Attend project meetings with customer where required

Organise samples

Manage the administration for opening new customer accounts

Organise the administration for managing and maintaining the customer price file

Material and finished goods stocks

Stock movements and transactions

Accounts receivables queries

Coordinate customer raw material requirements and customer promotions with Supply-chain

Manage customer contact for ad hoc information requirements and routine messages

Export document & tracking

Accounts receivable - dealing with invoice queries that come from accounts

Product launches - someone who can coordinate timings & link in with another member of the team on new product introduction

Interface with NPD/trials/timings

Ability to manage CTPS - customer portal

Understands supply chain / material management / BOMs

Profile

A good understanding of customer and internal business processes

Numerate and able to understand product costings

Strong appreciation of the NPD process

Analytical & numerate

Spreadsheet and data literate

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Commercial experience within FMCG or related industries

Self motivated

Flexible/adaptable

Enthusiastic

Job Offer

Hours of Work 8-5 / 9-5 Mix of working from Home & In the office

Holidays 22 plus 8 does increase with service
