Production Operative Nights

Gap Personnel is currently recruiting Production Operatives for a big meat producer in Suffolk area. Due to heavily increasing work volumes, they now require Production Operatives to join their busy team in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk on temporary basis.

Key responsibilities of Production Operative:

• Cutting fresh meat into portions;
• Packing meat cuts or sausages;
• Filling boxes with ready packed products;
• Weighing trays and boxes;
• Loading and unloading;
• Working with scales, conveyor belts, cutting equipment;
• Following strict Health & Safety and Hygiene rules.

The ideal Production Operative will be/have:

• Good work ethic, disciplined and reliable;
• Basic English at least;
• Physically fit and hardworking;
• Experience is not essential as full training will be provided;
• Own transport is necessary if you are not local.

Shifts available for Production Operatives:

Night shifts, 2 / 2 / 3, 18:00-06:00, £9.72ph

Overtimes: extra shifts available

Holidays: 28 days of paid holiday

Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. Commutable from Thetford, Newmarket, Ipswich and smaller towns/cities from the surrounding areas.
