An exciting opportunity has arisen in Cannock as a Warehouse Operative to join our client on a Full Time Temporary basis working Mon-Fri 08.00 am - 16.30pm. Paying £10.00 per hour PAYE. This is to start ASAP.
**Drug screening is required for all successful candidates**
Responsibilities
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) to deadlines
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Complete diary logs into inventory
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulation Build, Pack and ship outbound customer orders
Experience
Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems; preferably SAP
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to understand safe liftin practices
Current forklift license (Preferable, not essential)
