Part Time Import/Export Administrator
Salary: Up to £30K Full time / £20,250 Part Time

Immediate startWe're currently working with a successful company who are looking to recruit an experienced Import / Export (Customs) Clerk in Warrington to assist with a new and exciting project. The primary purpose of the role is to help with the administrative aspect of Import/Export customs.
This role is offered on a part time basis, working 27 hours per week, during evenings and 2 hours working remotely on a Sunday.
There is a competitive salary paying up to £20,250 dependant on experience, and some attractive company benefits too.
Full time hours (40 hours p/w) are also available offering a salary of up to £30,000.
Duties Will Include:
Allocating the correct licences depending on imported goods
Liaison with Port officials
Advise operational colleagues of any shipments that are on hold and of any warehouse or transport issues.
Any other administration duties required by the managerYou will be working as part of a team, so you must have confident communication skills and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will be a customs officer with a solid understanding of customs, including the latest rules and regulations applying to customs clearance services. Knowledge of current customs-related software is highly desirable, too.

Knowledge of HMRC via either CHIEF, NES or inhouse systems.
You will be fully conversant with import and export Customs regulations
Have a good knowledge of customs classification and tariff codes and ideally have experience of CVED's.
Good standard of knowledge with Microsoft packages.
Experience of legislative compliance
