We are currently recruiting for Night Hygiene Operatives at our site based in Hereford and have a range of shifts available. We have a range of permanent and fixed term roles available now. 
To be a Night Hygiene Operative in our SITE team you will need enthusiasm, commitment and an eagerness to learn. Whilst undergoing on the job training, you will also undertake development in the areas of food safety and health & safety.

Hourly Rate: £10.39 per hour, plus additional shift premium
 
Purpose of the Role
As a Hygiene operative you will play an instrumental part in achieving the required hygiene standards with the Hygiene team for Avara Foods.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
Awareness of the usage of material and energy sources.
Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
Manual handling of plant and equipment
Isolation of plant and machinery
To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/ManagementWhat we are looking for:

Basic effective communication and numeracy skills - essential
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in cleaning and support services - desirable
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - desirable
Manual Handling training - desirableA little about us:
